My painting 2009 ÂConnect was recently acquired by Cirque du Soleil Collection of Contemporary Art, permanent collection (Montréal, Quebec, Canada). We are going to announce our artist representation program soon. We recently showcased San Diego artist "Franz Borowitz" in the Joseph Watson Gallery. I am currently exhibiting at the Reed Whipple Cultural Center in a show titled "It's a Girl Thing." Next month, we will feature another San Diego artist Grady Williams. My painting "Shopping on a Gloomy Day" appeared in this month's Luxery Las Vegas Magazine. 7-16-09 I am currently exhibiting at the Distinction Gallery in San Diego. I am part of a group show titled "Mind Machine". The second opening will be July 25th. 6-10-09 A private exhibition of my work is currently on display at the World famous Cirque du Soleil Resident Shows Division Headquarters in Las Vegas. It was a benefit for the Nevada Aids project. I also donated one piece to the "Bark for Art" event. Both of these were art auctions. Soon, I will complete my latest painting "People in the Park". It was conceptualized from my last casting call event. Also, I just completed a painting titled "The Construction of WJS". This is one of five paintings for the Mind Machine show in San Diego. 10-08-08 Check out photos from my gallery space... 9-22-08 I just opened a second gallery in the beautiful Cetus Gallery District. This isn't a gallery that you can visit in person, but a virtual 3D world gallery that you can experience online. It will be a online replica of my real gallery space in downtown Las Vegas and will feature many of my paintings. The gallery space will go through many installations within the next couple of weeks. I will post info on how to visit soon. 9-17-08 New prints were added to the "prints" section. I am exhibiting one piece at the Bridge Gallery (City Hall) in Downtown, Las Vegas. 9-5-08 My new downtown gallery space is open! 8-27-08 Joseph Watson Collection will have a permanant gallery space in the Arts Factory located in Downtown Las Vegas. Come check it out during this First Friday's event! 7-16-08 I will have a painting that will be featured in MModern's exhibit in the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas on July 18th & July 19th. My painting is titled "Pleasure Plaza". See you there! 6-23-09 I will soon exhibit at an un-announced show at the Hard Rock Hotel, also exhibit in San Diego in late July and will attend the Market Exhibit at the World Market Center. 6-08-08 Recenlty exhibited at the Canyon Gate Country Club. Completed five new pieces.
4-22-08 I recently completed another painting. It is titled "The Color of Women". You can view it in my advertisment in the May issue of Art Business Magazine. There are also two more followup paintings in the works which I will post in about 3 weeks. 3-31-08 I recently joined the ADAS group in Las Vegas. We are a group of prestigious designers, artists and architects. Also, I have a new painting in the works and will post it soon. 3-13-08 I recently finished a new painting titled "Conversation Piece". I also exhibited at the Canyon Gate Country Club. 1-9-08 The Drawing section of my site just got updated with seven new sketches. All original paintings will be available for purchase within two weeks.
1-02-08 lots of new news!!! Most recently, I exhibited in the ArtExpo in Las Vegas as well as City Hall's very own Bridge Gallery. I was fortunate enough to network with many galleries and publishers. I will make more announcments on ArtExpo soon. Also, I recently exhibited in the Summerlin Trails Art Walk.
