A graphic exploration of the shell. Soothing colors were carefully chosen to comfort the viewer. I wanted to repeat the abstracted shapes of the shell throughout the painting for consistancy. The surface is wonderfully layered and textured with a weathered feel to it. I chose a constructed wood surface to execute this painting on
